Junior Data Engineer

Primary Duties
  • Developing application software to create, manage and display healthcare information.
  • Designing data models, reverse engineering source datasets, deploying ETL processes using Pentaho Kettle.
  • Working with the PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
  • Developing R, Java and JavaScript code, and using Tableau to build visual reports.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field of study
  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience.
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Pentaho, SQL, ETL pipelines, Java, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Tableau and shell scripting are required.

Junior Software Engineer

Primary Duties
  • Develop Web applications in Java and JavaScript/HTML/CSS, with solid knowledge of SQL for data access.
  • Develop simple application database models to support application logic.
  • Develop simple Web user interfaces in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. We tend to use plain VanillaJS for out front end development.
  • Working with PostgreSQL and SQLServer.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field of study
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and SQL are required.

Senior Data Architect

Primary Duties
  • Lead a team through complex data integration and reporting projects.
  • Implement data architecture, validation and deployment processes and best practices.
  • Reverse engineer complex schemas and other poorly documented data sources.
  • Develop data warehouse and OLAP models and database schemas. Must be familiar with Relational and Dimensional design principles.
  • Architect ETL data integration pipelines using tools such as Pentaho Kettle, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, SSIS.
Job Requirements
  • Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field of study.
  • Minimum 7 years related experience.
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Pentaho, SQL, ETL processes, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, Java, JavaScript and shell scripting are required.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry a must. Experience in post-acute settings and typical EMRs in that area (such as HomeCare/HomeBase, NextGen, GE Centricity...) is a plus.
